We are pleased to be able to offer a seed funding grant to entrepreneurs enrolled in our program to launch or expand their businesses. This grant has been made possible by a generous donation to support early-stage entrepreneurs and existing entrepreneurs who are launching new products or services. Please note that this grant is only available when we have received funding for it which makes the grant's availability vary. Funding amounts will vary.
REQUIREMENTS:
-All applicants must have completed the simple enrollment form for the Small Business Opportunity Center on the Center's home page.
-All applicants must have thoroughly completed the Business Launchpad Certification to be considered.
-Applicants can only apply one time per company over the life of the grant.
-Only approximately 10 grants will be made annually.
-Applications will be selected on a rolling basis and notifications will be available on the site regarding availability.
Please complete the application form below in order to apply for a grant for up to $150 to pay for the cost of your initial business license in your respective municipality, SCC Corporation filing, or SWAM certification.
1. This grant will only pay the municipality or agency directly for the cost of the license OR reimburse you for the actual cost for you obtaining the business license, corporate status, or SWAM certification proved by receipts submitted.
2. This grant is only for new firms started as the direct or indirect result of the training, resources, and/or support provided to you by the Small Business Opportunity Center. It is not for renewals.
3. Business owners can only apply once for this funding for each unique business in its lifetime.
